RECAP IBL INDONESIA 2023

Even though it has passed, the remnants of the excitement of IBL Tokopedia 2023 can still be felt today. The league also released the players selected as the All-IBL Team for the 2023 season. As usual, the All-IBL Team chose the best five players, in the categories of two guards, two forwards and one center. Those selected are the best players in that position.

For the All-IBL First Team 2023, this time it contains Yudha Saputera (Prawira Harum Bandung), M. Arighi Hadran Noor (Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta), Kaleb Ramot Gemilang (Dewa United Banten), M. Reza Fahdani Guntara (Prawira Harum Bandung), and Randy Ady Prasetya (Satya Wacana Salatiga).

Yudha and Arighi are future guards for the Indonesian national team. Yudha in the league this season can produce 13.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.6 apg and 1.6 spg in 36 matches. Yudha is quite capable of making game situations. It can even be very sharp in the final finish. Both with layups and with long shots. Meanwhile, Arighi acts more as a counterweight, or guard combo. Because it can also be placed as a shooter. Arighi was able to contribute 11.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.1 apg and 1.1 spg in 34 matches. Both Yudha and Arighi are now strengthening the Indonesian national team.

In the forward position, there is Kaleb Ramot Gemilang who was selected as the MVP of IBL Tokopedia 2023. Kaleb played a very big role for Dewa United in being able to break into the top four. Although in the end it had to fall at the hands of Prawira. But throughout this season, Kaleb can collect 17.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.7 apg in 31 games.

The next forward is M. Reza Fahdani Guntara. The player who won the Defensive Player of the Year title, IBL Champion, and the 2023 Final MVP. Reza has shown that he is indeed an important part of the Prawira team. Especially in guarding the defense area. But apart from concentrating on defense, Yudha was also able to score 8 ppg in 31 matches.

Finally, there is Randy Ady Prasetya, center belonging to Satya Wacana. If IBL fans follow the development of the league, of course they are no strangers to Randy. The tall player with long wingspan has made Satya Wacana a team to watch out for. Especially when Randy guarded the area under the ring, because he was able to block shots very well. Randy deserves to be in the First Team this year, with average stats of 5 ppg and 6 rpg in 30 matches.
